The Southeastern Railway Museum is pleased to announce that Casual Catering of Georgia  is hosting a romantic evening at the museum, "Romance on the Rails".  Tables are limited and reservations are required.
 
Dinner includes 2 cocktails or beverages (beer, wine, tea, water, Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, or coffee), Hors d'oeuvres, Garden Salad, your choice of Entree (Lemon Herb Chicken, NY Strip Steak, or Salmon with caramelized butter), Seasoned Smashed Potatoes, Freshly Grilled Mixed Vegetables, Rolls & butter, Champagne, and  Coffee & your choice of  Dessert.
 
Dinner  seating is limited to 9 tables. You have a choice of two different seatings : Thursday, February 14th at 7pm or Friday, February 15th at 7pm. A table for 2 is $125 and a table for 4 is $200. Members of the Atlanta Chapter of the N.R.H.S.  receive a 25% discount : $95 for a table for two and $150 for a table for four. You're invited to tour the museum either before or after dinner. Please arrive in the Dining Car approximately 10 minutes prior to your seating.
 
Enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of a bygone era as our professional wait staff serves you in our 1928 Dining Car on fine china and white linen. To reserve your table, please contact Kathy Sills with Casual Catering of Georgia at (770)963-8106 or by e-mail at caterer@srmduluth.org. Due to the limited number of seats, all reservations are first come, first served and payment is required when you make your reservations. We accept MC, Visa, American Express, and Discover. Charges will be processed the day of your reservation.

About the museum:
 The Southeastern Railway Museum has been in operation since 1970 and is "Georgia's Official Transportation History Museum".  The museum has over 80 other pieces of retired railway rolling stock including vintage steam and diesel locomotives, passenger coaches, private business cars, a World War II army troop kitchen, wooden freight cars, railway post office car and maintenance of way equipment. Transit history is represented with a cross section of busses and trolleys from the early 1900's through the mid 1980's. The museum is also home to MARTA's historic bus fleet which includes busses from many of the predecessor systems to MARTA. Many other items from Georgia's transportation history are also presented on the museum's 35-acre site. 

The museum is open ONLY on Saturdays January through March.  April through December the museum is open Thursday - Saturday from 10am - 5pm.

The museum is located at 3595 Buford Hwy in Duluth. Directions:  From I-85 northbound, exit at Pleasant Hill Road.  Turn left (west), pass Gwinnett Place Mall, and continue approx. 3 miles to Buford Highway (US 23).  Turn right (north) on Buford Highway.  Travel approx. mile to Peachtree Road, turn left, cross railroad tracks, then turn right into museum entrance.
