Editor's Comments

This year has been very challenging for the museum. We have undertaken our first major steps to present a more educational view of railroads with the opening of our first exhibit hall and initial exhibits. This effort has been rewarded by watching our visitors spend time reading, seeing and learning.

We continue to move forward with even more aggressive plans to add more exhibits, present our equipment in better settings and restore and preserve more of our collection.

Contributions sought for Web Site

Historical photos of much of our equipment are not available in the library. A request has been made to membership asking for copies of photos made while any of our rolling stock was in operating, during donation or its first movement to the museum. If you have photos in your collection of any of our pieces, a donated copy would be greatly appreciated.

Also, we are seeking articles on railroading in the south, Atlanta railroads, or other related items for our Features section. Further information or inquiries can be addressed to the webmaster.
