Southeastern Railway Museum announces Breakfast with Santa Claus

For Immediate Release (Duluth, Ga.).

The Southeastern Railway Museum will be accepting reservations for breakfast with Santa Claus starting in November.

Join Engineer Santa in the Museum Exhibit Hall for Snack Breakfast, Saturdays only, November 19 and 26, December 3, 10, and 17, at 9:30 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. The cost is $3.00 per person, in addition to Museum admission. Reservations are required and may be made any time after November 3, at the front gate or by calling (770) 476-2013 on Thursday, Friday or Saturday, between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Guests pay at the gate and receive a breakfast ticket. Breakfast consists of a granola type bar or regular Krispy Kreme donut with juice box, coffee or tea. Breakfast attendees will have priority seating on the 10:00 and 11:00 train ride with Santa. Children will be given a souvenir Santa postcard. Prepayment is required for groups of 10 or more. Bring your camera.

The Southeastern Railway Museum has been in operation since 1970 and is "Georgia's Official Transportation History Museum". The museum has over 80 other pieces of retired railway rolling stock including vintage steam and diesel locomotives, passenger coaches, private business cars, a World War II army troop kitchen, wooden freight cars, railway post office car and maintenance of way equipment. Many other items from Georgia's transportation history are also presented on the museum's 30-acre site.

Trains rides aboard restored cabooses are complementary with admission.
